The Midwest Music Foundation is proud to present MidCoast Takeover. The event began in 2010 as a group of musicians and music lovers gathering for a Kansas City-focused showcase at the nation’s largest music festival in Austin, Texas. The showcase has grown into a four-day, two-stage event. Taking musicians to Austin reflects attention back on the vibrant music scenes in Kansas City and throughout the Midwest. 

These fundraiser shows help us raise funds to pay for the production costs of hosting this showcase. MidCoast Takeover is funded through these fundraiser shows and sponsors, separate from our other programs and services.
